How do I schedule a mobile notary appointment?

Call, text, or use the contact form on my website. Please provide your location, the type of document, approximately how many signatures need notarization, and whether witnesses are required.

Do you provide Apostille services?

Apostille assistance is available for documents that need to be authenticated for use outside the United States. Contact me with the type of document and destination country so I can help determine the appropriate next steps.

What is an Apostille and what is its purpose?

An Apostille is a certificate used to authenticate certain public documents for use in another country that participates in the Hague Apostille Convention. An Apostille authenticates the appropriate public official's signature and capacity; it does not validate the contents of the underlying document.

Can you notarize real estate and loan documents?

Yes. I provide professional loan signing and real estate document notarization services and can meet signers at their home, office, title or escrow office, or another convenient location.

How long does a notarization take?

A simple notarization may take only a few minutes once identification has been verified and the document is ready. Appointments involving multiple documents, signers, witnesses, or loan packages may take longer.

Should I sign my document before the notary arrives?

It depends on the type of notarization required. Some notarial acts require the document to be signed in the notary’s presence. If you are unsure, it is best to wait until your appointment before signing.

Do you offer evening and weekend appointments?

Yes. Evening and weekend appointments may be available. Advance scheduling is recommended, although same-day appointments may sometimes be accommodated.

Can you notarize documents for someone in a hospital, assisted living facility, or care facility?

Yes. Mobile notary appointments are available at hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and private residences. The signer must be willing to participate in the notarization and able to communicate directly with the notary.

Do you offer mobile notary services?

Yes. I travel to homes, businesses, hospitals, assisted living facilities, care facilities, and other convenient locations throughout Auburn and surrounding Placer County communities.

What is a notarization?

A notarization is an official act performed by a commissioned Notary Public. Depending on the notarial act requested, the notary verifies the signer’s identity, completes the required notarial certificate, and helps deter fraud. Notarization does not verify that the contents of a document are accurate or legally valid.
